Software Technology Developer

As Software Technology Developer you will contribute to the core software technology used in graphic arts applications. You will be part of the color and imaging R&D group where you will be responsible for the development of new cutting edge technologies supporting requirements for both conventional and digital printing applications. Both the mathematical design, and an efficient and performant implementation are key for this job opening. This core technology library is currently in use by multiple graphic arts applications supporting the needs of all our end-users worldwide.

 

Job

  • You design and deliver software technology functionalities for graphic arts applications;
  • You deliver high quality software within the agreed time frame. Focus on efficiency and performance is key for success;
  • You support and extend the automatic testing framework;
  • You design software applications to demonstrate and test new functionalities;
  • You contribute and improve the existing release mechanisms;
  • You are responsible for providing time estimates for the work you deliver and you engage yourself to focus on the intermediate milestones;
  • You follow up new technological developments in the graphic arts industry;
  • You keep track of new software developments.

 

Profile

  • You have a master in exact sciences (physics, mathematics) or computer science;
  • You have a strong mathematical background;
  • You have more than 5 year of experience with software development;
  • You have a profound knowledge of C++;
  • You are familiar with UML and design patterns;
  • By preference you have some knowledge of GPU frameworks (CUDA, OpenGL, OpenCL, …);
  • By preference you have experience with C# / objective C;
  • By preference you have some knowledge of color and image processing / some experience with OpenCV;
  • Knowledge of Graphics technologies is a bonus;
  • You have excellent analytical skills;
  • You are proactive and open minded;
  • You are able to work independently; you are a real problem solver;
  • You are a team player; you are a good communicator;
  • You have advanced knowledge of English (oral and writing).
