IT Finance & Controlling Manager

As IT Finance & Controlling Manager you are responsible for the financial and controlling processes of the IT department of Agfa Offset. You are also taking care of consolidation and follow up of the global IT budgets.

Content of the function

• Management of the IT budget and forecasting processes:
• Manage and optimize the budget process in line with Offset overall budget process.
• Prepare and consolidate yearly budget proposal
• Follow up of the approved budgets
• Prepare financial forecasts and drive for accuracy and risk analysis.
• Controlling of the financial processes:
• Verify  supplier invoices linked to purchase orders or purchase contracts. Report to requisitors.
• Maintain a strong financial control environment and ensure timely and accurate cost recognition in line with the internal financial policies and procedures.
• Ensure proper allocation of  the IT costs across the Offset division.
• Explain the financial figures of the IT department to external auditors.
• Management of the IT contracts in consultation with the procurement department and the requestors:
• Follow up of the contracts budget.
• Support with the contract renewal.
• Monitor the  software license agreements.
• Give advice to the IT management team
• Perform cost/benefit analyses for the approval of change requests and projects.
• Analyze key cost drivers and propose improvement initiatives
• Prepare monthly reporting of IT costs (Actual, Forecast, budget).

Profile of the candidate
 

• You have a Master degree, preferably in finance, business administration or applied economics or equivalent through experience.
• You have knowledge about and a strong affinity with both the finance/controlling domain, as well as the IT domain.
• You can prove a minimum of 5 years experience in financial and budgeting processes related to an IT department.
• You have knowledge of SAP transactions as a business user in the domains of Finance and Controlling and are familiar with financial reporting tools.
• You are familiar with internal and external finance audits.
• You have strong analytical skills and are a wizard with numbers.
• You can work independently and can plan and manage your work within a “multi tasking” environment.
• You aim for a high level of quality (First time right).
• You are highly motivated and eager to learn new skills.
• You are fluent in English, both in writing and orally. Dutch is an asset.
