As the Warehouse worker you will be reasonable for unloads trucks, identifies products, receives product in accordance with Purchase orders, stores materials with forklift, picks order and readies for delivery

 

Responsibilities but not limited to the following:

  • Responsible for his/her safety, as well as those around him while operating equipment
  • Unloads trucks, receives material in accordance with Purchase Orders while checking quality and accuracy
  • Stores materials in specified bin locations with forklift and handling equipment
  • Picks orders and readies for shipment in accordance with the pick ticket
  • Verifies other picked orders for accuracy
  • Counts inventory on cycle count and researches discrepancies and/or notifies manager of discrepancies 
  • Files freight claims and follows up with freight companies for payment

 

Education:

  • High school diploma or GED

 

Experience:    

  • Experience in warehouse operations is required

 

Specific skills:

  • Forklift certification required.
  • Basic hazmat training
  • Basic computer and email competency
