Agfa is seeking a highly-motivated and customer-focused individual to join our Customer Service Team.  This is a full-time position working Monday-Friday during normal office hours.


Reporting to the Customer Service Team Leader, your role will be responsible for the supporting Agfa’s customers with regards to product orders and equipment service requests.


Based in our Scoresby Head Office, you will be responsible for:

  • Coordinating all aspects of orders from receipt of order through to delivery, whilst maintaining a high level of customer service and satisfaction.
  • Liaising with Sales teams, Logistics, distributors and customers to ensure successful delivery and invoicing.
  • Liaising with other members of the organisation to resolve customer incident reports in respect of orders, which may include arranging collections and credits.
  • Informing the customer of the resolution as well as responsibility for ensuring the customer’s enquiry is answered in good time.
  • Maintaining customer and pricing data in systems, monitoring backorder status, creating and maintaining other relevant documents and records, etc.
  • Coordinating all aspects of equipment service requests from receipt of the service call through completion of the service fulfilment.
  • Liaising with Field Service teams to arrange for a Service Engineer to attend to the service call.
  • Following up with the customer as needed to advise of estimated service time and ensuring all parties are updated regarding status of calls.


 This role will require:

  • At least 2 years in a Customer Service Role
  • Year 12 or equivalent is highly desirable
  • Experience in MS Word and Excel, Lotus Notes, Order Processing / Call Centre Skills, Sales environment
  • AS 400, SAP and MS Access skills are desirable
  • Good understanding of logistics processes, order processing, customer service processes and general business processes
  • Initiative, customer-orientation including excellent listening and communication skills
  • High degree of accuracy & problem analysis
  • Team work and planning & organising skills
