Healthcare IT Deployment Engineer
 

Within the Agfa Healthcare IT department, you will be working in the Healthcare IT integrations team. This means you are an important link with the realization of new and Agfa IT PACS implementations within Europe region North (Benelux, UK , Ireland, Nordics) hospitals.

You will be working within the deployment team. You will work both on site and remotely.

As Integration Engineer you are responsible for:

 

  • The preparation, analysis, installation, configuration and optimization of the Agfa Healthcare IT products to meet the customers workflows needs, within existing customer environments or new installations.
  • Execute, implement and monitor all assigned work packages within the project team
  • Diagnose, repair and support the client and project team during the different project phases.
  • Perform preventive maintenance, upgrades and technical follow-ups with customers
  • (Remotely), install, configure, restore and adapt the systems at the customer site.
  • The successful candidate should have good communication skills and be to cooperate and communicate with clients and other members of the Region North team (Operations - Support - Project Management - (Pre-) Sales)
  • The successful candidate should be able to document procedures and accurately register your activity.
  • Sharing knowledge and experience with other team members or with customers

 

You will be part of a team consisting of 20 persons, both project managers, integration engineers and deployment engineers and will be reporting to the service manager IITS

 

The profile we are looking for:

  • You have a bachelor degree (or higher) in IT or equivalent through experience.
  • You have several years of IT experience as a Field Service Engineer or Integration Engineer, doing remote or onside integrations.
  • You have a thorough knowledge of and experience in relational databases including Oracle and MS SQL
  • You are familiar with the MS Windows operating systems in a client-server environment. Experience with Linux is an advantage
  • Knowledge of the healthcare standards like HL7, FHIR and DICOM are a plus
  • Knowledge of Rhapsody (Orion Health / Lyniate) is a strong benefit.
  • You have some experience with JavaScript, JSON, XML
