Health& Safety Specialist

 Job overview:

Inspection of working conditions and compliance with occupational health and safety regulations and principles.

Conducting periodic occupational health and safety training. Part time job.

Main responsibilities:

• conducting periodic occupational health and safety training
• inspection of working conditions and compliance with occupational health and safety regulations and principles
• keeping the employer informed about identified occupational hazards, along with proposals to remove these hazards
• presenting the employer with proposals regarding compliance with ergonomic requirements at work stations
• taking part in accidents investigation
• participation in determining the circumstances and causes of accidents at work and in developing conclusions resulting from the examination of the causes and circumstances of these accidents and occupational diseases
• keeping registers, completing and storing documents regarding accidents at work, confirmed occupational diseases and suspicions of such diseases
• participation in assessing the occupational risk associated with the work performed

Requirements:

• higher education in the field of occupational health and safety and the fire protection license
• min. 2 years in occupational health and safety service
• very good knowledge of English (spoken and written)
• practical knowledge of current occupational health and safety and fire protection regulations
• experience in developing documents based on current legal provisions, as well as in creating regulations, procedures and internal instructions
• knowledge of MS Office
• well-developed ability to organize one's own work
• presentation skills (including readiness to perform on forums)
