Position Overview

Global Process Owner (GPO) for Record-to-report

The GPO will lead the design, standardization, transformation, and policy development for the R2R (record-to-report) process area. The GPO will determine how to fulfil customer requirements, and ensure that the end-to-end process delivers on its goals of transformation and finance business process optimization.The GPO will act as the owner for the R2R process, designing and owning the end-to-end process across functional, geographic and business unit boundaries, ensuring standardisation and efficiency, and implementing policies, effective controls and KPIs. The GPO will take responsibility to monitor, streamline, optimize and potentially redesign these R2R processes and be the designated expert for related systems and technology.

What You'll Do:

  • Own and standardize global R2R processes across all regions.
  • Lead process transformation and automation initiatives, including S/4HANA deployment.
  • Collaborate with finance, IT, and external partners to ensure alignment and efficiency.
  • Monitor KPIs and drive continuous improvement based on data insights.
  • Manage change and support adoption of new tools and ways of working.
  • Benchmark best practices and introduce innovative process enhancements.
  • Ensure proper documentation, compliance, and audit readiness.

 

What you offer us:

  • Minimum bachelor degree in Finance with 5 years’ relevant experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; good coaching skills
  • Operational experience of SAP and S4/HANA and working knowledge of broader Finance toolset in driving transformation projects or change initiates
  • Experience of process standardization within a large, global organization
  • Working knowledge of R2R Tools is essential such as Account Reconciliation, Smart closing, Automation in R2R
  • In depth knowledge and understanding of the mechanics in the R2R process stream and how these fit into the end-to-end financial process environment
  • Experienced in a Global Business Services environment would be beneficial
  • Capable of managing global and complex projects and ensuring changes are embedded into business as usual process
  • Excellent project management skills to deliver results within time and budget
  • Fluent English
