Pre-Sales Consultant (HealthCare IT / Medical Imaging / PACS / RIS) - Iberia

The Pre-Sales Consultant supports the sales process. He/she works in close collaboration with the Key Account Manager; together they drive and win sales opportunities in customers and prospects. The role is focused on Technical and Solution architecture design for order fulfilment. The role also requires engagement with HQ Product management to ensure that our solutions fit market needs.

In addition, the role also requires providing customer facing or virtual clinical workflow and demonstration support alongside managing the demonstration environments with support from Application colleagues.

 

Main responsibilities:

  • Provide Product knowledge Support to the Agfa Sales team and Business Managers.
  • Bridge the gap between sales and product management.
  • Create and follow up on upselling opportunities with the Sales Team.
  • Engage with potential new and existing customers to understand their needs and pain points and to provide Product consultancy on the solution application and configurations.
  • Engage with customer’s clinical, technical and IT teams in presales phase.
  • Prepare for and give outstanding customer facing presentations.
  • Designing solution for AGFA HealthCare to support Sales activities.
  • Responsible of RFP management and responses.
  • Prepare technical documentation required for proposals, bids and contracts.
  • Accountability for creating bids on-time and according to Business Divisions pricing guides and authority.
  • Accountability for high technical quality and configuration of a proposal.
  • Accountability for a realistic and appropriate proposal scope.
  • Accountability for being knowledgeable and up to date on latest AGFA HealthCare and competitors’ products & solutions.
  • Prepare and support trade fairs and represent AGFA HealthCare.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (IT, Biomedical, etc.) and/or computer science. Additional IT certifications is a plus.
  • Minimum 3-5 years Sales or Pre-sales experience within Healthcare IT or Radiology is a must.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good team player.
  • Excellent planning & organizing skills.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to use initiative.
  • Flexible and adaptable.
  • Strong self-motivation.
  • Fluent in Spanish is required. Other local Spanish languages will be appreciated.
  • Fluent in English.

Understanding of:

  • IT Architecture framework.
  • Interhospital Workflows.
  • Hospital information systems and interconnectivity.
  • DICOM, HL7 and IHE.
  • Server Virtualization.
  • Storage configuration.
  • Networking expertise.
  • Cloud hosting.
  • Working knowledge of RIS/PACS and VNA.

Location: Madrid metropolitan area - hybrid with around 20% travel in Iberia.
