Pre-Sales Consultant (HealthCare IT / Medical Imaging)

 

Agfa HealthCare develops, delivers and maintains state-of-the art mission critical software that provides specialist workflows and storage of large amounts of medical imaging data.

The Pre-Sales Consultant will support the Key Account Managers in the preparation of offers for both public and private clients. They will primarily be responsible for defining the technical architecture and project aspects in accordance with the guidelines provided by HQ. The consultant will interface with the Global Team for the technical validation of projects, conducting dedicated meetings for each project proposal. Additionally, they will assist the Key Account Managers in client meetings when presentations on the proposed solution are required. The consultant will manage, in synergy with the Key Account Manager, the preparation of bid documents or offers. They must stay updated on the main developments in Agfa’s portfolio by researching and participating in training meetings proposed by HQ.

 

Main Responsibilities:

  • Be the trusted advisor for our customers and prospects.
  • Provide product knowledge support to Agfa’s sales team and Business Managers.
  • Interact with new and existing customers to understand their needs and issues, providing product advice regarding the application and configuration of solutions.
  • Create and follow up on upselling opportunities with the sales team.
  • Manage the preparation of technical and economic documents for tenders.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations aimed at customers.
  • Design solutions for AGFA HealthCare to support sales activities.
  • Prepare the required documentation for technical-commercial proposals.
  • Know and stay updated on the latest products and solutions from AGFA HealthCare and competitors.
  • Prepare and support industry trade shows and represent AGFA HealthCare.

Requirements:

  • Degree in engineering (computer, biomedical, etc.) and/or computer science.
  • At least 3 years of experience in pre-sales, solution architecture or consultancy in the healthcare IT sector is beneficial.

Knowledge of:

  • IT architecture.
  • Infrastructure and datacenter knowledge.
  • Cloud hosting knowledge (I.e. AWS, Azure).
  • Practical knowledge of DICOM, HL7, and IHE is beneficial.
  • Practical knowledge of RIS/PACS and VNA is beneficial.
