Job Summary: 

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive individual to join our team as a Demo Support Manager. This role is designed to oversee the management of our demo team and facility and to help our Service department with the installation, maintenance and repair of the demo equipment. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent organizational abilities, and the required technical experience .

As a Demo Support Manager, working with the HQ Support team you'll be responsible for the equipment in the Inkjet demo room. Ensuring the equipment is maintained correctly to the highest quality standard for Demo’s, media tests and Sample production.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Demo Team Management:

    • Lead, mentor and represent the demo team to ensure a highly engaged and high performing team.
    • Schedule and coordinate demo team activities, including client presentations, mail order and sample kit creation, internal training sessions, as well as solution demonstrations at tradeshows.
    • Provide regular feedback and development opportunities to team members.
    • Collaborate with other departments to align demo team efforts with company goals.
    • Support the marketing department with the implementation of our Digital Printing Solution brand guidelines, messages, imagery and other marketing collateral in the demo center(s) and at events.

Demo Equipment Management:

    • Organize installations of demo equipment in the demo room and support the Service department with repairs and updates.
    • Oversee the maintenance, inventory, and logistics of all demo equipment.
    • Ensure a proper maintenance of all the demo systems by the demo team. Make sure that the team keeps the demo equipment in optimal condition for client presentations and internal use.
    • In case of technical issues, you will be responsible in the first instance to resolve the issues. In case you can’t solve the issue yourself, you will be responsible for escalating these issues promptly to the HQ Support team and if required liaise directly with R+D.

Occasional Travel requirements with the HQ Service team.

Occasionally,  travel will be required for the following.

    • Support of Trade Shows in Europe.
    • Attend site to receive product/application specific training

Profile

  • Bachelor degree/diploma in Business Administration, Management, Electronics/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in equipment management, field service or a related technical role
  • Proven experience in team leadership.
  • Strong customer relation skills
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the Inkjet product line or experience in a similar industry
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Willingness to travel occasionally (for training or support issues)
  • Good research and problem-solving skills
  • Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks

  • Flexibility and sense of urgency.
