We’re looking for a talented and driven Business Controller Manufacturing to serve as a finance business partner across several production-related departments. With a strong focus on data analysis and continuous improvement, this role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about turning numbers into insights.

 

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Support the Mortsel production site’s management team by providing clear visibility on financial performance and key figures.
  • Analyze essential data to create a comprehensive view of manufacturing activities and costs, and help improve reporting tools such as dashboards and scorecards.
  • Take ownership of recurring processes like forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning, as well as ad hoc management reporting.
  • Continuously assess and enhance FP&A processes, balancing standardization with tailored solutions.
  • Evaluate product costing methodologies, ensuring a realistic yet efficient and transparent reflection of operations - propose and implement improvements.
  • Contribute to the redesign, implementation, and ongoing optimization of future-proof FP&A processes, using analytics to uncover trends, strengths, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Play a key role in business cases for CAPEX requests and investment proposals.
  • Conduct monthly analyses of manufacturing variances, KPI performance, and stock evolution across different production stages.
  • Monitor cost price evolution and analyze deviations from targets, providing clear and actionable insights.

 

What We're Looking For:

  • A Master’s degree in Economics, Business Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in manufacturing controlling or a similar role is essential.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with Power BI is a plus.
  • Familiarity with SAP FI/CO, cost accounting, project accounting, and budgeting methodologies is a strong advantage.
  • A passion for translating financial figures into clear summaries and compelling business cases.
  • A self-starter who also enjoys working in flexible, collaborative teams.
  • A methodical and detail-oriented approach to work.
  • Strong sense of responsibility, integrity, and accountability.
  • A flexible mindset with a continuous learning attitude.
  • Strong communication skills—both written and verbal—adaptable to different audiences.
  • Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
