Profile - Field Service Engineer - Barranquilla

The Field Service Engineer will be responsible for installing and repairing medical printing devices such as Processors, Hardcopy Printers, Digitizers, Workstations, and Digital X-Ray Equipment. At the same time, train the users on the use of this equipment.

  • Install and run medical imaging diagnostic printing equipment.

  • Repair medical imaging diagnostic printing equipment, such as Drystars, EOS Fix, Mammography, CR, DR, and some others.

  • Train users in the use and handling of equipment so that they can use those properly, avoiding failures and repairs.

  • Give remote support to dealers for installations and repairs.

  • Moderate customers on possible problem solutions on the equipment use.

  • Administrative functions such as: phone call attendance, introducing data on the ServiceNow database.

 

Specific Skils:

  • Ability to work under pressure, while appropriately managing customer concerns / escalations / expectations.

  • Customer service skills, including the demonstrated ability to work constructively with both internal and external client groups.

  • Strong interpersonal skills, including the proven ability to network in a global environment (Agfa network) and build relationships with geographically remote personnel. Time management, organization, prioritization, and follow-up skills.

  • Networking intermediate knowledge, wifi and physical network configurations. Use of applications for signal test and operating systems networking tools.

  • Operating systems advanced skills, use of logging, and security of applications running on MS Windows OS.

  • Intermediate to advanced level of English and Spanish both written and spoken.

  • Availability to travel to all countries of local Region. (North & South Latam)

  • USA Visa is a plus.

  • Strong communications skills, both written and spoken. Team work and assertive communication.

  • Good at handling Office and IT tools.

Education:

  • Electronic and Communications Engineer or similar.

Experience:

  • Desirable at least 3 years of experience working with Computed & Direct Radiography X-Ray systems.

Specific skills:

  • Languages: English 80%

  • Technical Skills: Analog and Digital Devices Knowledge, Mechanics, Networking.

  • Soft Skills: Customer focus, good interpersonal relationships, service attitude.
