Key Account and Channel Partner Manager Central and South Italy - Radiology Solutions

This position is responsible for the direct and indirect sales of Agfa Radiology Solutions in the Southern part of Italy. The person acts as a single point of customers for channel partners and customers for Agfa products and services. He/she is responsible for organizing a good direct and indirect market coverage in the assigned territory, the business development in the territory, identifying opportunities, creating account / deal strategies, coordinating and managing the sales process and negotiating contracts. He/she has or develops decent understanding of market developments and trends in the territory and shares this with the company for strategy planning. The position requires well developed commercial and communication skills, the ability of making and developing solid business relationships and well-developed IT skills and financial acumen.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Develop and execute the annual business plan for the territory.
  • Develop and deploy annual plans for business partners and support the execution of these plans.
  • Identify and develop business opportunities in the territory, directly or in collaboration with channel partners. Act as the single point of contact for Agfa products and services.
  • Present the Agfa portfolio to channel partners and customers. Provide demo’s where needed.
  • Develop account strategies and quotations, based on thorough understanding of customer needs.
  • Negotiate sales and service agreements with customers.
  • Manage customer relations and expectations and resolve issues in case they would arise.
  • Update the CRM system on a continuous basis, to reflect the development of the sales funnel.
  • Handover customer orders to sales operations and service in a clean way.

 

Profile

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration / Biomedical / Technical Engineering
  • 5+ years of experience sales and/or sales management in a B2B setting, preferably in the MedTech industry and experience with tender business.
  • Sales experience on value added selling of product and services.
  • Knowledge of Medical Imaging / Healthcare / Hospitals is a plus.
  • Assigned annual business target for order intake and sales.
  • Market coverage and sales representation in the territory.
  • Sales and service responsiveness towards channel partners and customers.
  • Customer satisfaction in the territory.
  • Clean handing over of sales orders.
  • Account overdue.
