We are looking for a versatile and customer-focused Supply Chain Coordinator to join our team.  Reporting to the Supply Chain Team Lead, your role will be responsible for the day-to-day management of stock levels in accordance with pre-determined criteria and provide quality service in a cost effective manner. 

 

Working in a hybrid remote / office (Scoresby) basis, you will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring inventory is maintained and stock levels controlled.
  • Providing quality and timely customer service to both internal and external customers regarding orders and deliveries.
  • Working closely with freight forwarders on quoting and deliveries.
  • Acting as a key element in the network with sales support, logistics, warehouses, and service team.
  • Maintaining an effective system of reporting & communication to management.
  • Providing support and assistance to operations team members as needed, including data entry, phone support and acting as a back up.
  • Participating in projects as needed

 

 This role will require:

  • Knowledge/experience of supply chain processes and the implications of supply chain in business strategies
  • Good computer skills with previous experience in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel
  • SAP experience is an asset
  • Customer focused with good planning, organisation and time management skills
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Good business acumen, problem solving and analytical skills
  • A team player who is open minded to learn new processes and willing to take on new challenges
