Reporting to the NA President, Agfa HealthCare this position is accountable for leading the Enterprise sales strategy for the North American region. 

The SVP of Sales for Agfa HealthCare NA will be responsible to drive regional market share growth for Agfa’s Enterprise Imaging IT solutions. This role requires demonstrated ability to drive Sales strategy through excellent sales process, forecasting and methodology. Must have a deep experience and understanding of the NA healthcare customers’ business needs and objectives. 

The individual will need to be a dynamic leader with proven leadership progression throughout their career and a desire to develop sales teams to embrace best practice Sales methodologies such as Miller Heiman.


The ideal candidate is an experienced senior business executive with demonstrated skills and ability to sell large complex Healthcare IT solutions and services and deliver solid financial results to the company. This individual is expected to have demonstrated experience growing new client business, interacting with the C-suite, negotiating large contracts, and directing members of highly experienced sales team to sell Enterprise information technology products, solutions and services.


The senior vice president of sales position requires substantial sales experience, 10 or more years as a Sales Leader in a Healthcare IT environment. Preferably at the Vice President level.



Key Responsibilities:


  • Demonstrate critical process, product and Healthcare market expertise.
  • Direct and manage a highly experienced team of sales professionals within NA
  • Secure new business and manage existing accounts in the NA market
  • Participate in defining new sales opportunities and geographical expansion through market analysis
  • Develop and implement national sales account strategies to meet financial objectives
  • Provide market information such as current trends, sales techniques, application of products in healthcare
  • Responsible for staying informed with trends in Healthcare technology and economic trends in the industry




  • Proven and progressive previous experience in sales/services/promotion to C-suite, technical and commercial decision makers, i.e. CEOs/CFOs/CIOs/COOs
  • Ability to interface with both internal team members and external customers as part of solutions-based sales approach.
  • Well versed in Miller Heiman Selling Methodology
  • Ability to energize, develop and build rapport at all levels within an organization.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent commercial organizational and analytics skills; Excellent negotiator.
  • Drive Miller Heiman Methodology sales process




  • Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s degree is desired
  • 10+ years of experience in sales leadership in Healthcare information technology products and services
  • 10+ years of large enterprise contract sales
  • Demonstrated ability to drive accurate forecasting and net-new business growth through programs and campaigns
  • Experience reviewing and negotiating complex contracts and pricing agreements
  • Understanding of reporting requirements, tools and processes
  • A self-starter who can effectively work within a strong team culture
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Dynamic public speaking and presentation ability
  • Ability to travel extensively
