Position Overview:

This position is responsible for management and implementation of software customizations based on customer feedback in fast paces. Under limited supervision, the Lead is responsible for establishing a highly effective and efficient software development team.   The Lead is the primary responsible for maintaining the core competencies of the development staff, and the enforcement of the quality procedures regarding software development.  The Lead also works with Project Team Leads to ensure the quality and timeliness of the project deliverables.
In this position you will lead 3+ developers and report to IIBU R&D site manager.

What You'll Do (Responsibilities):

• Participate as member of the Shanghai IT R&D management team. 
• Establish effective and positive working relationships with other functions within the R&D organization and related external departments.
• Responsible for the overall quality of the architecture and design and coding software applications and components.
• Help establish and maintain local development processes, procedures, work instructions according to global IT R&D guidelines and local needs. 
• Manage day-to-day activities and ensure that the team is running at optimal capacity and efficiency.
• Communicate openly and frequently to the team about business goals and objectives.  Act as the voice of the team to upper management.
• Lead by example and help build a culture of professionalism, responsibility and initiative.

Who You Are (Qualifications):

• BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering & related fields.
• 5+ years in software development and 3+ years in architecture/team management
• Full stack engineering is a plus
• Excellent communication skills in English and Chinese
• Relevant working experience in SW Engineering Lifecycle, Analysis, Architecture, Design, Coding, Testing
