The Account Manager acts as single point of contact to customers for Agfa Healthcare products & services in a designated geographic territory. Focuses on personal sales targets, new business development, maintaining customer relationships, and troubleshooting specific customer problems. Sales representatives have in principle no sales team to manage.

 

  • Accounts are stable in nature, within an identified market or geography.
  • Is also responsible for identifying opportunities, , managing customer expectations and negotiating contracts with the support of the Sales Manager. Cultivating relationships is essential.
  • Follow internal process (Order Generation) and be part of Sale Management Process to deliver/create forecast and budgets with the support of the Sales Manager.
  • Continues follow-up with customer and potential customer (meeting, presentations, support service meeting, etc).

 

Main responsibilities:

 

  • Meets personal sales targets as established, focusing on small to moderate accounts, which are stable in nature within identified markets or geography.
  • Receives periodic coaching from supervisor or more experienced professionals.
  • Prepares sales presentations, contracts and proposals.
  • Accountability for profitable offer calculation, submission and contract management.
  • Participates in special projects such as major promotions etc.
  • Execute a strategic account plan according to the orientation from Sales Manager.
  • Continues opportunities follow up.
  • Regular contact with assigned accounts.
  • Accompany prospective customers from first contact to closing of contract with Sales Manager’s support.
  • Manage customer relationship and expectations during proposal & negotiation phase with Sales Manager’s support.
  • Negotiate with customers (new sales, upgrades, service contracts, transition projects).
  • Explain and demonstrate the sold products/solutions with a technical support if necessary, towards the best strategy, working together with the customer.
  • Execute and control sales processes with the support of others if necessary.
  • Being Sales contact in hand-over from sales to Services with a technical support if necessary.
  • Assist the service manager during proposal & negotiation phase for SMA’s.
  • Accountability to establish and build strong client relationships over time that allow for continuity with the support of more senior professionals such as a Key Account Manager or the Sales Manager.
  • Accountability for ongoing representation of sales with a technical support if necessary.
  • Participates with other sales management to contribute in developing sales strategies for national accounts, including identification of target accounts and opportunities.

 

Education:

  • Business administration, marketing, system engineering, industrial engineer, or related.

 

Experience:

  • +3 years of experience in Sales of Technologies in Healthcare sector.

 

Skills:

  • General knowledge: Negotiations, Teamwork, Proactive, Excellent relationship builder, Strong business sense. 

  • CRM, Windows Office 365. Forecasting process, strategic in sales and leadership  skills are differentials.
  • Professional attitude and the ability to interact at all levels of a company. Objective approach towards complex problems.
  • Languages: Spanish and Advanced English would be a differential.
