The purpose of the Clinical Product Sales Consultant is to assist the Sales organization with product demonstrations for prospective clients. This assistance includes the preparation activities associated with effective demonstrations including discovery, workflow analysis, consultative selling, system setup and demonstration and a documented understanding of the demonstration objectives.
The primary role of the Cardiology Clinical Consultant is to represent clinical expertise, and demonstrate cardiology workflow from imaging to structured reporting to meet clinical and technical capabilities with physicians, IT staff and executives to help drive sales.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Advanced customer discovery, consultative selling and demonstration
- Ascertain a deep understanding of clients’ unique challenges, needs and requirements and how our solutions drive value to maximize clinical performance and outcomes
- Demonstrate a full grasp of the positioning of our products and services as well as the ability to relay this messaging with confidence to prospects and customers and adopt a consultative selling approach
- Address customer variations in clinical use to produce effective workflows and outcomes to satisfy the customer requirement and/or educate on alternative models to ensure they maximize their performance in daily routine practice and ultimately return on investment.
- Work collaboratively as part of a cross-functional team to ensure client success and satisfaction
- Assist in the creation of RFP and RFI responses and perform other duties as assigned by management
- Assist marketing/sales in the follow up to demonstrations including win/loss analysis
- Establish and maintain knowledge of competitors and be able to articulate the strengths of Agfa HealthCare strategy and product/service offerings in response to competitive comparisons.
Education:
- AA degree, RN degree, or a RT Certification with clinical experience in Cardiology (mainly Ultrasound and Cath Lab with a preference for nuclear, Cardiac CT/MR, ECG and Advanced Image Processing and Enterprise-wide workflows) required.
- A four-year degree is preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years in the health care industry as a Technologist, RN, or PACS Administrator with strong track record of success required
- Industry experience in product demonstration is required
- Minimum of 5 years clinical experience in Cardiology
- Thorough understanding of the clinical objectives of a diagnostician required
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, required
- Strong, dynamic interpersonal presentation skills required.
