Job description
As Demo Infrastructure & Setup Responsible within the Europe & International Marketing IT team, you will be responsible for ensuring the continuity, quality, and evolution of AGFA HealthCare’s demo environments across the region.
The role combines hands-on technical setup, demo infrastructure maintenance, regional coordination, and contribution to the company’s broader ambition to strengthen a global demo setup, including cloud-based environments, data labels, scripts, and standardized demo capabilities.
You will be responsible for:
- Supporting and maintaining demo environments used across Europe & International for trade fairs, conferences, customer meetings, proof-of-concepts (both AGFA and inclusive of 3rd party integrations), and regional, commercial procurement or account-based demonstrations.
- Ensuring continuity and operational reliability of demo units, both cloud-based and workstation-based, especially for events or customer situations where cloud access may not be possible or appropriate.
- Setting up, configuring, testing, and maintaining demo infrastructure in close collaboration with Clinical Pre-Sales Consultants, Business Managers, application specialists, and regional team.
- Supporting technicians and application specialists in setting up and maintaining demo units and proof-of-concept environments.
- Managing demo units used for product demonstrations, ensuring that the environments function as expected and are ready ahead of key events, customer meetings, and commercial engagements.
- Setting up and maintaining cloud demo environments, including AWS-based environments, for AGFA HealthCare application specialists and, where appropriate, for controlled customer use.
- Ensuring interoperability between the different components of the demo environment, including Enterprise Imaging Scheduling, Enterprise Imaging, Xero, BI, TeraRecon, OrthoView, TomTec, Invia, TQM/Dose, and other relevant third-party applications.
- Facilitating collaboration between regional teams and global product centres, including Product Management, R&D, and other global stakeholders and ensuring optimal configuration with the latest Enterprise Imaging releases.
- Supporting the regionalization of demo environments, including localization, configuration, customer-specific requirements, event-specific needs, and account-based demo preparation.
- Contributing to the definition of a more structured global demo setup, including data labels, demo scripts, cloud demo capabilities, and standardized environments that can be reused and adapted by regions.
- Helping to build and maintain internal knowledge, documentation, and processes related to demo setup, configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
- Supporting the development of a roadmap for demo environments, aligned with the product portfolio and the launch plan, commercial priorities, market needs, and the cloud strategy.
- Owning and maintaining all regional demonstration assets, to ensure they are supported, maintained, patched and performant across the regions. Including advising associate investments of further configurations and asset optimization as well as upgrading kit where appropriate.
- Liaising with 3rd party hardware vendors to manage leased demonstration kit and ensuring supportability and contract assets with AGFA procurement and order management.
Desired profile
- You hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in IT, healthcare IT, imaging informatics, or have equivalent experience.
- You have strong IT knowledge, preferably in healthcare-related IT and imaging environments.
- You have experience in the technical support, installation, configuration, and maintenance of healthcare IT solutions.
- You are comfortable working with demo, test, or proof-of-concept environments where reliability, flexibility, and responsiveness are critical.
Your experience ideally includes:
- Installing, configuring, and maintaining demo units or test environments.
- Setting up and configuring Enterprise Imaging, or related imaging IT systems.
- Working with cloud-based environments, preferably AWS, or demonstrating a strong willingness to further develop in this area.
- Setting up and managing workstation-based demo environments for events or situations where cloud access is limited.
- Network configuration and troubleshooting.
- Basic SQL knowledge and experience with Linux.
- Setting up virtual IT environments using VMware and Proxmox, including hypervisors.Understanding healthcare communication standards such as DICOM, HL7, FHIR, and IHE workflows.
- Supporting interoperability between AGFA HealthCare solutions and third-party applications.
- Documenting configurations, demo flows, technical setups, and troubleshooting steps.
- Experience deploying and maintaining cloud-native (healthcare) applications in AWS, including EC2, VPC, security groups, storage services, networking, and identity management
- Understanding of containerized environments and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Understanding of cybersecurity principles, identity management, VPN technologies, role-based access control, and secure remote access.
- Experience managing anonymized healthcare datasets used for demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, and training environments.

- A good command of English, both spoken and written.
