AGFA HealthCare is looking for a Project Manager (Enterprise Imaging PACS)
AGFA HealthCare operates mainly within public and private institutional care delivering healthcare solutions for digitalizing workflows within radiology, cardiology and related specialties with AGFA’s state-of-the-art software.
This position is responsible for delivery of project management services for AGFA HealthCare.
The project manager utilizes best practice methodologies (iMap, PMBoK etc) and a comprehensive set of documentation, tools and training to deliver projects in a timely and cost effective manner. The project manager will work closely with the customer and relevant AGFA HealthCare resources to ensure professional and profitable project delivery. This position also undertakes a key leadership function to enhance and optimize PMO business process performance.

Main responsibilities
- Complete projects in accordance with customer requirements and AGFA specifications, from Sales hand-over through to Final Sign-off, Acceptance and payment
- Initiate Implementation Planning Strategy (IPS) when required and manage this process
- Travel throughout region, including reasonable consecutive overnight stays when needed to carry out duties
- Ensure OH&S policies are adhered to and that a safe working environment is provided for all parties during support activities.
- Maintain high levels of professionalism when liaising with customers, communicate project schedules and status changes appropriately and identify opportunities to improve customer communications
- Identify and participate in training opportunities to increase familiarity with solutions and keep abreast of new technology developments.
- Maintain an effective flow of relevant information to satisfy the needs of the project and the customer
- Liaise with relevant managers to ensure adequate resources are allocated to ensure successful project implementation
- Comprehensive documentation (iMap) to be delivered both to customers and stored and maintained on Corporate SharePoint
- Project progress and profitability monitoring to be communicated to relevant management
- Update own, and review and approve team timesheet entries in PPM and reconcile with project time sold and expenditure.
- As assigned, oversee and support contract Project Management resources who may be engaged by AGFA HealthCare from time to time
- Lead and progress PMO process improvement initiatives (aligned to the iMap methodology and industry best practices).
- Track and report on revenue recognition, manage project change requests, and work with AGFA management to ensure accuracy of monthly revenue forecasts
Requirements
- Experience in delivering large scale clinical information / Healthcare IT (PACS / RIS / Medical Imaging / Radiology / eHealth / … ) projects is required
- Tertiary qualification in either Project Management, Business, Engineering or IT (highly desirable)
- Minimum 3 years Project Management experience dealing in medium to large projects
- Minimum 5 years experience within the HealthCare industry
- Project Management skills, including experience in waterfall methodologies (eg PMBok, PRinCE 2)
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills and customer service focus
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Positive attitude, proactive, self starter, action and results oriented
- Continuous learning orientation; keeps abreast of new and emerging technologies and markets
- Well-developed analytical, diagnostic and problem resolution skills.
- Current Australian Drivers License is required.
