Clinical Applications Specialist (PACS / RIS / VNA)

AGFA HealthCare is looking for a talented and motivated Senior Clinical Applications Specialist / Workflow Analyst to join our team. You will work closely with other Applications Specialists and the Professional Services team in workflow analysis and configuration of AGFA HealthCare Enterprise Imaging solutions and assisting with developing and delivering clinical applications high quality and effective training for our Customers. You will be highly skilled in interpersonal communications and will assist the Sales and Pre-sales teams in Customer demonstrations of our products and provide support during trade events. You will develop your skills and experience through on-line training programs, internal in-services and bespoke training, as well as on the job mentoring by your AGFA HealthCare colleagues.
Due to expanding business growth in Victoria the position will be based in Melbourne and primary place of work will be from our Australian Head Office in Melbourne. This is a senior role and is supporting our entire Asia Pacific install base. The position would ideally be suited for an experienced radiographer or imaging / informatics system administrator. Clinical experience of > 10 years (preferably in a hospital setting) and post graduate studies in IT or Health Informatics will be highly regarded.
This position is field-based, and travel flexibility is required to support Customer engagements, on-site project implementation activities, and Customer training. Depending on operational tempo, travel requirements may be up to 25-50% of your time, and may include both interstate and international travel.
Responsibilities:
· Work collaboratively with the Professional and Technical Services teams in delivering high quality outcomes for Customers
· Work on and off the Customer site to assist in the conduct of data capture and workflow analysis.
· Provide expert advice to both Project Managers (and their implementations teams) and to Pre-sales / Sales teams regarding clinical imaging and report distribution workflows
· Work closely with the AGFA Enterprise Imaging Product Specialist in preparing and delivering Customer facing product demonstrations, including support at trade fairs and exhibitions
· Support the configuration of AGFA Applications on and off-site.
· Assist implementation and service teams in the delivery of outcomes exceeding Customer expectations.
· Ensuring all Customer commitments and promises are kept.
· Observe outwardly and communicate internally to ensure engagement and service plans lead to improved Customer experience and satisfaction
· Support the development and assist in the delivery of training to the Customer’s system administrators, Radiographers, Clinicians, Radiologists, and support personnel both on and off-site
· Provide oversight and guidance in development and delivery of Customer facing reports.
· Maintain professional competence and strive to gain a deep understanding of AGFA HealthCare Clinical Applications
· Ensuring customer satisfaction levels are maintained or improved and full adoption / maximum utilisation of the AGFA HealthCare Enterprise Imaging solution is achieved.

Education:
· Bachelor or Post Graduate Degree Medical Imaging (Radiography, Sonography, Nuclear Medicine etc) (highly desirable)
· Post graduate Degree in IT or Health Informatics (desirable)
· Certificate III in Training (desirable)
Experience:
· >10 years’ experience working in a healthcare or health service delivery setting (highly desirable)
· 3-5 years’ experience in developing and delivering training in a healthcare setting (highly desirable)
Additional Requirements:
· Valid Australian Driver’s License (or ability to obtain)
· Australian citizenship, residency, or suitable visa for employment in Australia
· Strong technical aptitude mixed with an excellent understanding of a clinical workflows in a hospital setting
· Regular travel, some out of hours work is required
· Ability to meet tight time frames and deadlines and work in environments of competing priorities
· Ensuring all Customer and team commitments are met- ie ability to keep promises
· Excellent communication skills, troubleshooting skills and able to self-direct

· Melbourne. Or agreed re-deployment to Melbourne within 2 months of appointment.
