IT System Engineer - Madrid

Agfa Healthcare is currently looking for an IT System Engineer, based in Madrid, who will be in charge of dedicated on-site support for Clients/Contracts that require continuous support, and also some specific developments focused on Imaging healthcare (systems integration). As the first point-of-contact of Agfa on-site, the role must deliver consistent, professional and quality service.

As IT System Engineer you are responsible for:

• To fill the proper installation docs accordingly, to manage equipment in the most proper way (Service Now, reporting, acceptance test)
• Together with the project manager, evaluates the possible solutions during the implementation phase to meet the timing of the project itself
• To identify and communicate risks analysis and problems
• To cooperate with the R&D to solve problems and make a proper risk analysis
• To take care of the correct forwarding of the docs to all people involved, especially the specific features of the implemented project

Focused on development activities, you are responsible for:

• To understand customer and workflow needs
• To be able to develop small solutions on HL7 integration domain, and DICOM image management
• To cooperate with development team, understanding previous solutions and collaborating with new ones.

What you bring to the table:

• Degree in IT or Formacion profesional
• At least 2 years of professional experience in managing complex customers and hospital workflow
• Knowledge in programming languages, C+, Java, Python, .NET. is a plus
• Good knowledge of IT network and domain.
• Experience with Windows Server, Oracle (database), Linux / Unix , SQL , Scripting, DNS server
• Solid communications skills (oral/written) to interact effectively and professionally with both internal and external customers
• Knowledge of healthcare standards: HL7, DICOM, FHIR, Mirth is a plus
• Customer focus attitude and problem-solving skills
• Good language skills in Spanish and English, both written and verbally
