As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) you will be responsible for generating interest in Agfa HealthCare products through identifying, developing, nurturing and qualifying leads. The Sales Development Representative plays a critical role on the sales team.  We are looking for candidates that are eager and interested to build a career in the healthcare technology sector with a passion for technology.


Location: This position will work remotely and support the MidWest and West.


Main Responsibilities:


  • Drive and manage role requirements, which are listed below, with high-level independence and autonomous decision making for best outcomes related to generating net new revenue opportunities
    • Assistance with CRM integrity, tracking, and analytics, with Sales directors on Strategic Sales team.
  • Tracking all activity related to engaging clients and prospective clients in CRMs
    • Initiate conversations with potential client via phone and/or digital outreach.
    • Generate new business opportunities to fuel the pipeline through executing lead generation strategies
    • Research and build new and existing relationships (i.e. adding contacts, strategic appointment setting. Digital outreach campaigns)
    • Lead follow up and nurturing following all trade shows, digital events and programs
  • Collaborate with Sales Management and individual Sales Directors to develop targeted lists, call strategies, and messaging to drive opportunities for new business
    • Bi-Weekly calls with all new business reps
    • Collaborate with Sales management and the Marketing Department to create and deliver monthly campaigns to drive revenue
    • Manage and create quotes for assigned accounts
  • Achieve or exceed monthly/quarterly quotas of Qualified Leads and Closed Business
  • Minimal travel required
  • Other duties as assigned


Professional Requirements:


  • Undergraduate degree in healthcare or related field preferred
  • Cold-calling experience preferred
  • Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment on sales initiatives required
  • Digital outreach and marketing experience preferred
  • Experience selling healthcare technology systems or products preferred
  • Sugar CRM experience preferred
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills required
  • Goal-oriented, highly motivated, self-starter attitude required
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, team environment required
  • Ability to understand customer requirements and identify potential solutions to fulfill these needs required
  • Excellent time management with strong organizational skills required
