Associate Technical Deployment Specialist

The Associate Deployment Specialist (ADS) (Healthcare IT) is responsible for:

  • Documenting, installing, and testing the full line of Agfa HealthCare solutions using a combination of on-site and remote work.
  • Ensuring consistent delivery and installation of servers, storage, networking and Operating Server configurations.

This role will require up to 40% travel to perform work and meet with clients and other stakeholders. Weekend activities may be necessary to meet project deliverables.


Job Duties & Accountabilities: 


  • Configure server networking and interface with customer networking teams
  • Provide support to Project team around the infrastructure deployment.
  • Support Technical Project Manager (TPM), Technical Lead (TL), Deployment Specialist, and Sr. Deployment Specialist (Sr.DS)
  • Project assistance and support for all Agfa Product related projects such as XERO integrations, BI etc.




  • Associates or bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • MS Windows or LINUX experience or exposure
  • CompTIA A+ is a plus but not a requirement
  • CompTIA Server + is a plus but not a requirement
  • Security ++ training and certification will be provided.




  •  0 – 2 years’ experience with associated IT technologies.


Specific Skills:



  • Basic networking knowledge in VM Environment
  • Basic knowledge of Windows Server 2016 and greater
  • Basic knowledge in the DICOM, HL7 and IHE domain and the PACS applications would be a plus
  • Familiar with Oracle Linux 5 and higher would be a plus
  • Basic understanding of Load balancer configuration and support
  • Basic knowledge of storage technologies (SAN and NAS) such as EMC, NetApp, HP etc. would be a plus
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Team Player with the ability to work and interact with virtual teams.
  • Must be eligible to travel within the US and Canada
  • Must be eligible to apply for customer-initiated security clearances such as the US National Agency Check (NAC)
