The position is a full-time role, based in Bogota (Colombia), with considerable travel. It represents a challenging opportunity for an experienced IT Key Account Manager, in a multi-cultural environment, managing direct accounts and through of dealers. The successful candidate will work directly with the Regional Manager to define & implement the market strategy for IT solutions: portfolio, sales channels, pricing policy, marketing activities.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Develop New and Existing Geographic Markets.
  • Meeting customer/dealers/prospects to understand the requirements and propose appropriate solutions.
  • Developing consultative sales relationships with key buying influences within the customer's organization including key management and executive management, CFO, Radiology Directors, CEO, etc.
  • Financial responsibility for monthly, quarterly and annual bookings and revenue targets.
  • Host site visits and provide on-site demonstration support to Agfa sales personnel.
  • Achieving assigned sales and profitability goals for Agfa products and services.
  • Maintaining a positive working relationship with Agfa Healthcare’s local and global professional sales and service organization.
  • Maintaining up to date knowledge of the industry trends and competitors’ solutions offerings.
  • Prioritize sales opportunities based on company objectives.
  • Understanding and preparation of Technical Configurations.
  • Providing basic solution Demonstrations.
  • Participation in Radiology and IT Events and Exhibitions.
  • Willingness to travel up to 40% of time and to customer sites, sales meetings and tradeshows or as required by business conditions.




Bachelor’s degree and System or Electronic Engineer, biomedical engineer. IT background.




  • Minimum 4 years direct sales experience in Healthcare or/and Healthcare IT.




  • Experience with the planning, developing businesses cases and administration of complex software applications.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interface with diverse stakeholders.
  • Entrepreneurial attitude and proactive business style.
  • Highly developed problem-solving skills.
  • Competitive clinical IT product experience/knowledge.
  • Self-starter and independent thinker, with the aptitude to work autonomously.
  • Excellent writing and presentation skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
