Sr. Project Manager

The Sr. Project Manager must be able to meet project objectives using cross functional resources to deliver complex technology projects.  Deliver complex, large or new solutions which require creation of templates and best practices to be shared across the organization.  Responsible for the accurate forecasting of project dates, project revenues, and delivering the project within budget.

 

This position can be based in any of the following locations, close to a major airport:

Dallas, TX, Southern California, Atlanta, GA or Florida

 

Responsibilities

 


  • Create and execute project work plans in accordance with project's Statement of Work (SOW) and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
  • Identify and schedule internal and external resources to meet project plan objectives.
  • Manage activities of Project Team members in completion of assigned tasks in accordance with schedule, cost, performance and quality objectives.
  • Meet with internal and external stakeholders to effectively communicate project expectations in a timely and clear manner.
  • Efficiently identify and solve project issues as they arise in a proactive manner
  • Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.
  • Insure all Agfa Healthcare quality documents required for the project's deployment type are accurately completed, signed and posted.
  • Meet on-time commitments for project's Service Acceptance and Final eptance

Desired Skills and Experience


  •  Advanced knowledge of current IT and Healthcare technologies (HL7, DICOM, IHE)
  • Working knowledge of hospital departmental workflow is required
  • Proven presentation preparation and delivery skills to a diverse audience from C-suite to end users
  • Ability to work independently with little guidance and supervision
  • Ability to prioritize effectively and handle shifting priorities professionally
  • Exemplary written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with excellent negotiation, facilitation and conflict resolution skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Project Management and other Microsoft Office products
  • Proficient in tools and technology required to manage virtual project teams
  • Strong executive presence

Qualifications


  • You have a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, MIS, Computer Science, Healthcare or related field MBA, MPA, MHA or related Master's degree is preferred.
  • You can demonstrate 5-10 years of experience in project management with 3-5 years in healthcare IT project management
  • You have experience in in Successfully deployed complete PACS system and RIS or Cardiology suite
  • You have experience translating a SOW into a actionable plan
  • Experience leading conversations with steering committees
  • You have Advanced knowledge of current IT and Healthcare technologies (HL7, DICOM, IHE)
  • You have a knowledge of hospital departmental workflow
  • Proven presentation preparation and delivery skills to a diverse audience from C-suite to end users
  • You are able of work independently with little guidance and supervision
  • You prioritize effectively and handle shifting priorities professionally
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
