Internal Auditor

As an internal auditor, you will provide independent and objective assurance and consulting services that result in the improvement of the organization’s operations and performance. 

With a focus on process improvement and introducing best practices, you will get the opportunity to contribute to taking the internal audit department to a next level.

Be prepared for frequent travel to our facilities located both within and outside of Europe.

Responsibilities

• You will conduct global operational audits for our different departments and business groups.
• You will ensure key risks and controls are properly identified.
• You will assess internal control systems and business processes, both on demand as proactively introducing your ideas to the business.
• You bring a systematic, disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of the control, governance, and risk management processes.
• You will guarantee the completion of the objectives within the specified timeframe and meet high quality standards.
• Together with the department responsible, you will actively develop and roll-out the internal audit vision and strategy of the group.
• You will contribute to continuously improving the overall effectiveness and value of the internal audit function by recommending and developing innovative audit approaches and solutions.
• You will help maximizing the usage of the IT systems (SAP, BO, Power BI,…) to drive the efficiency and quality of the audit approach.
• You will evaluate the relevance, reliability and integrity of management and financial information.

Your profile

• Master’s degree in Economics, Finance or Engineering
• 3 years of auditing or relating experience
• You have a strong understanding of ERP systems (preferably SAP), experience with leveraging data analysis tools is a plus.
• Practical experience in Data Analytics and/or ERM implementation is a plus.
• Proficient in communication, able to present reports in a clear, concise, and logical manner that is efficient and effective for business purposes.
• Fluent English (written & verbally). Other languages are an asset.
