Global Product Manager Retrofit

As Global Product Manager you are responsible for the development of the overall marketing programs for Retrofit Solutions. You take the lead in upstream marketing activities like, capturing a customer insights to steer development of new and existing products. You will arrange global downstream marketing initiatives and execute it’s activation. You will have end-to-end business responsibility for contribution of Retrofit in realization of company’s financial objectives.

 

Location: preferably Mortsel (Belgium) but open to other European offices

 

Responsibilities

  • Develops business and marketing plans for assigned products/brands, including pricing strategies, sales plans, and implementation strategies. 
  • Monitor market and industry trends in area of product application and collect customer insights to steer adequate value proposition. 
  • Participates in and evaluates market research and analysis, promotions, public relations, and advertising associated with assigned brands or products; assesses their success against plan. 
  • Collaborate with a wide variety of internal functional areas such as Presales, (after) Sales teams, Strategy office, R&D, Production, Regulatory, and also with external sources
  • Participates in training for field and customer service personnel on brand/product introductions or enhancements, as well as new marketing/sales campaigns. 
  • Liaises with specialist departments to ensure the effective operation and production of new/revised products. 
  • Negotiates with other internal departments, in order to agree new product opportunities or developments within set time-scales and budgets. 
  • Monitor current and future market needs in close cooperation with the Sales and Services organization and the Business Strategy team.
  • Set and track KPIs is area of product business top line growth and profitability. 
     

Requirements

 

  • You have a master degree in marketing, sales or business development or equal by experience
  • Prior experience in product management or a development role leading product definition or services marketing activities are an asset 
  • Knowledge of Imaging Equipment and a clinical background represent a great advantage
  • You show strong expertise in requirement definitions, customer communication and product/service life-cycle management
  • You demonstrate good balance between strategic thinking and operational efficiency
  • You have relevant experience in a large, multi-site, matrix and international environment, preferable in the Healthcare Industry
  • You are able to work collaboratively with multiple cross-functional teams in a globally distributed organization
  • You are persistent and an excellent change agent
  • You are result driven and a decision maker
  • You are entrepreneurial, open, hands on and diplomatic with strong relationship building skills and the ability to collaborate with diverse personalities
  • You communicate fluently in English, any other language is an asset
  • You are willing to travel (20%)
