Job overview:
The Record to Report Analyst will work in the AGFA OFFSET Company and is responsible and accountable for the daily operational accounting flows including compliance, consolidation and analysis of financial data. The R2R Analyst needs to be able to communicate on a daily basis and in a constructive manner with both the partner as well as internal stakeholders being it the local retained organization or HQ. Must have a broad, holistic view on the organization and the R2R processes. All issues and questions connected to the R2R process from an operational point of view will be handled by the Record to Report Specialist in a fast and efficient manner.
Main responsibilities:
- Responsible for the accounting R2R activities
- Provide R2R support to the local organization and to the partner on a daily basis
- Verification and approval of ‘non-rule based’ accounting entries
- Responsible for the coordination of and assistance in the closing process
- Create, analyze and advise on allocation keys in the different SAP modules
- Support to internal and external audits
- Ensure, together with external partner, a qualitative and correct reconciliation of accounts
- Execute accounting process controls on a regular basis
- Assist to the legal compliance process (annual accounts, CIT declarations, statistics…)
- Execution of small ad hoc projects within the R2R domain
- Challenge current ways of working and propose improvement initiatives where possible
- Deliver consequently work of high quality, accurate and according to the standards, procedures, agreements, rules and expectations
- Act as trustworthy back-up for colleagues
- Cooperate closely with service teams, stakeholders, management, audit teams, finance partners, partner, local teams
What do you offer us:
- Bachelor degree in accounting (or equivalent through relevant experience) and 5-7-year experience in an international accounting environment
- Very good English
- Knowledge and insight in accounting activities, accounting techniques, standard- and best practices, cost reporting, balance sheet and profit & loss accounts
- Knowledge of the most important IFRS-standards and a good knowledge of the local GAAP standards
- Specialist in financial reporting an knowledge of the different SAP modules and tools including PS-accounting
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel and Visual Basic) and SAP (transactional and Business Warehouse)
- Able to build a good knowledge of current systems and procedures and able to design and implement new procedures or adapt current procedures in order to comply to business needs
- Able to take end-to-end ownership within domain of record to report and demonstrate indirect leadership
- Process oriented and a good knowledge of end-to-end processes of the company
