The Pre-Sales Consultant supports sales activities through specialized technical knowledge and product applications from conceptual stages, through pre-sales, sales, trials and training. Serves as a lead in solving technical problems and in discussions with customers during sale process. Although, technical knowledge and background is relevant, a commercial mindset is mandatory for this position.

 

Main responsibilities:

 

  • As technical resource to sales professionals, contributes to sales meetings by providing deeper understanding of product workings or applications, as well as of product limitations and non-traditional product usage.
  • Prepares technical presentations and demonstrates how a product meets client needs.
  • Documents customer requirements and provides technical guidance related to sales strategy and proposals.
  • Participates in training for internal sales professionals and on-site technical training for customers.
  • May serve as technical trouble-shooter to customers after sales are closed and while products are being tested or installed.
  • May also accompany account manager during service visits or while exploring application problems.

 

Duties and Accountibilities:

 

  • Support Bid process
  • Follow Order Generation Process.
  • Prepare propositions, bids and contracts
  • Prepare documentation required for propositions, bids and contracts (Sow, technical proposal, etc.)
  • Fill-in bid forms and documentation
  • Support sales representatives on Budget quotations
  • Perform customer presentations
  • Prepare and accompany reference site visits with customers and prospects
  • Support Workshop and events

 

Education:

 

  • System, Electronic or Industrial Engineer. Business administration, Marketing

 

Experience:

 

  • At least 5 years of experience in Technical products and technologies for Healthcare Sector as RIS; PACS; VNA; HIS; HL7; MPI, etc.

 

Skills:

 

  • Languages: Spanish and English Fluent
  • General knowledge: Healthcare knowledge (Processes and Workflows), Healthcare IT Standars (as HL7, Dicom, IHE, etc), IT background, RIS/PACS/VNA knowledge,
  • Teamwork, Leadership, Proactive, Excellent relationship, Strong business sense. 
  • CRM, Windows Office 365, quotation tools.
