As a Consolidation and Reporting Specialist, you are part of a team of specialists in the areas of consolidation, financial controlling and corporate financial processes and systems.

You will focus on consolidation and reporting activities. You also get a unique opportunity to learn more about the group's activities thanks to the close contact with our internal customers such as FP&A (Financial Planning and Analysis) and GFS (Global Financial Support) other corporate departments such as Corporate Treasury and Tax and our reporting contacts locally. Furthermore, you will learn more about the Group’s operating segments HealthCare IT, DPC (Digital Print & Chemicals) and Radiology.

In this function, you will report directly to the Head of the Corporate Controlling & Reporting department.

 

Content

 

As a Consolidation and Reporting Specialist, you are responsible for:

  • Contributing to the preparation of the consolidated financial reporting of the Group, on a monthly and quarterly basis, in accordance with IFRS.  In this context it is very important to update your knowledge of the various IFRS standards. You will also be highly involved in the preparation of the Annual Financial Report of the Group.

  • Analyzing and commenting on key variances of financial data with the objective to achieve a qualitative and clear reporting. In this context, you maintain close contact with FP&A and GFS

  • Advising local reporting contacts on matters with an accounting or reporting character. You check the IFRS-compliance of the reporting packs with the Group’s accounting policy and practice. You act as a first line contact of the different reporting contacts. In this role, you respond to questions of the reporting teams. You will also communicate a lot with the teams of our external auditor.

 

 

Desired profile

 

  • You have a master’s degree in economics (or equivalent by experience) and at least 3 years of experience within a finance environment

  • Advanced business analytical skills, high level of self-organization & planning, strong presentation skills

  • You can challenge and act as a sparring partner for your stakeholders. Affinity with the financial reporting of industrial activities is a plus

  • You are a driver, take initiative and act proactively

  • Ability to prioritize, lead and manage multiple deadlines and projects to successful completion

  • You value integrity and accountability at high standards

  • You have good problem-solving skills and are client oriented

  • You work very accurate

  • You have a good knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft applications.  Knowledge of consolidation-software and FCPM (Financial Corporate Performance Management)-software is a plus

  • You are communicative (professional oral and written communication, presentation skills): both in Dutch & English
