Channel & Business Development Manager

You act as a Regional Channel & Business Development Manager being responsible for the translation of the Marketing & Sales Strategies of the Region Direct Export to the different sales channels within a certain geography. You take the lead in developing downstream marketing & sales activities and developing new business opportunities. You are responsible for developing and maintaining professional relationships with the Channel Key Accounts, and you bear end to end responsibility for realizing the financial objectives of the Region Direct Export.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • You develop business and ‘go to market’ plans for assigned territories, products, including pricing strategies, sales plans, and implementation strategies. 
  • You monitor market and industry trends in assigned territories, and collect customer insights to steer adequate sales strategy  
  • You participate in and evaluates market research and analysis, promotions, public relations, and advertising associated with assigned products 
  • You collaborate with a wide variety of internal functional areas such as Pre-sales, (after) Sales Teams, Product Marketing, Customer Operations, finance and Controlling, …
  • You participates in training for Sales and Application and Product Training
  • You are responsible to achieve budget targets for given area
     

Your profile

 

  • You have a master degree in marketing, sales or business development or equal by experience
  • Prior experience in channel management or a business development role are an asset 
  • Knowledge of Imaging Equipment and a clinical background represent a great advantage
  • You show strong expertise in Sales/Channel Management, Business Development, and direct customer communication
  • You have relevant experience in a large, multi-site, matrix and international environment, preferable in the Healthcare Industry
  • You are result driven and a decision maker. You are entrepreneurial, open, hands on and diplomatic
  • You have strong relationship building skills and able to work collaboratively with multiple cross-functional teams in a global organization
  • You are adventurous and willing to travel (>25%) 
  • You communicate fluently in English, and in French. Any other language is an asset
