Internal Auditor

We are looking for internal auditors who are eager to work in a challenging multinational environment with a global headquarter in Belgium. During the audit assignments, you will be exposed to business activities & business processes worldwide where you will have to identify, assess and report business risks in a professional and objective way. During and after the audit assignments you work closely together with business stakeholders of all Business Groups.

Typically, people join internal audit for around 3 years before moving into another Agfa function.

In this function, you report directly to the Head of Internal Audit and will be part of a lean and eager team of corporate internal auditors

 

Responsibilities

As an Internal Auditor you are responsible for:

  • Performing operational audits, at a worldwide level, across all business groups (Agfa Gevaert, Agfa HealthCare, Agfa Graphics,
  • Specialty Products).
  • Assessing internal control systems and business processes.
  • Assessing the relevance, reliability and integrity of management and financial information.
  • Advising management on controls, procedures, guidelines based upon the above mentioned analysis and business risk assessment.
  • Reporting the audit findings.
  • Following up with management the implementation of corrective actions, agreed with the business based upon your audit findings.

 

Qualifications

  • You have a Master Degree in Economics, Finance or Engineering with MBA.
  • You have excellent analytical skills.
  • You preferably have a first work experience; relevant past intimacy with business process, business risks, business improvement or
  • you are eager to learn.
  • You don’t take things for granted, critical mindset.
  • You have strong communication skills as you will be in touch with top management and other relevant stakeholders in the company.
  • You are used to report in a concise, business efficient and logical way.
  • You are able to work with MS Office (Excel, Powerpoint,…). SAP working experience is an asset.
  • You are driven by ethical standards and act accordingly.
  • You are fluently communicating in English (verbal, written). Any other language (Dutch, Spanish, Chinese ..) is an asset.
  • You are willing to travel short periods of time (1-2 weeks) all over the world up to 35%.
