Job description


As a Communication Manager you will be part of the Corporate Communication Team of Agfa and you will be responsible for Agfa’s internal and external communication. You will give your creative input and discuss, maintain and develop the communication and branding strategy together with management. You will coordinate the process of creating Agfa's Annual Report with an increased focus on the sustainability reporting.




  • You will work together with management and stakeholders to create an innovative branding and communication plan;
  • You will propose and develop creative and state-of-the-art Corporate Communication tools (e.g. the company presentation, the company movie,) …;
  • You will ensure that digital branding content (website, social media…) is aligned with the company’s renewed brand identity and message;
  • You will support and coordinate the internal communication (company magazines, the Corporate blog and internal announcements);
  • You will write external content such as press releases, social media messages, speeches, website content and leaflets;
  • You will build and maintain a strong relationship with the media;
  • You will perform market research and analyze the company’s stakeholders and their needs;
  • You will coordinate internal and external events such as press conferences, exhibitions, …
  • You will coordinate the process for the revamping and delivery of Agfa’s Annual Report;
  • You will be a member of the crisis team (together with the head of Corporate Communication);
  • You will work closely together with internal and external stakeholders such as the business divisions, the Executive Management Team, the Finance, HR and Legal department, the local and national authorities, business federations…;
  • You will monitor media and respond to feedback from the media and the public about the organization on traditional and digital channels.




  • 3 + prior experience working in a communication role, preferably within a corporate environment;
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills and the ability to meet deadlines;
  • Great multitasker
  • Able to think analytically and strategically;
  • Capable of thinking creatively and out-of-the box;
  • Capable of working well as part of a team and independently;
  • Excellent cooperating and interacting skills with various stakeholders;
  • Stress resistant and good coordination skills; Advanced communication skills, fluent in Dutch and English, both written and verbal.  Digitally savvy: knowledge and experience of usage of new technologies in a corporate communication environment.
