Agfa HealthCare has an exciting opportunity for a Global Marketing Manager of Healthcare Imaging IT to support the price positioning of our products and services across our targeted geographies and customers segments. Beyond global pricing matters, and for radiology specifically, he/she will support the building of smart governance, intelligent workflow solutions and delivery services for better and faster outcomes for our global customers. He/she will have the geo responsibility for North America and act the liaison for market-oriented requirements and sales enablement.

 

He/she will integrate a team of product marketing managers, working in lockstep with business team – including Strategy, Product Management, R&D, Marketing & Communication, Regional Marketing, Sales, PMO, QARA, finance, legal – to articulate and lead the formulation of a strategic vision nourished by market challenges, customer needs and competitive insights – to help achieve our business objectives. We are charged with defining the messages; formulating an agile plan that can be customized by the regional teams and partnering with central and field marketing to share and deliver compelling campaigns and content through increasingly digital as well as traditional marketing mix elements. The product marketing teams is a virtual team with specialists located in Europe (Germany, Austria, Belgium), North America (Canada). This position reports directly to the Global Head of Strategy and Marketing.

 

Key responsibilities:

 

  • Defining, driving and formulating the pricing and packaging in support of the solution & business roadmaps, focusing on customer value, willingness to pay and competitive pricing across our portfolio and specifically related to Enterprise Imaging platform, and considering the price positioning approach across targeted geographies and customer segments. Acting as the global price architect, working closely with each product marketer appointed to a specific part of the portfolio as well as with finance and business leaders.
  • Making effective use of industry intelligence at the geography, customer segments, product, business and competitive levels, and score market attractiveness and ability to win, establishing price metering, tiering and discounting as required and monitoring the average selling price performance and its variations across the portfolio lifecycle, geographies and customer segments.
  • Defining, driving and formulating the vision, value proposition and differentiation in support of the products, service & business roadmaps, focusing on needs-based and differentiators in radiology specifically.
  • Establishing and prioritizing product and services requirements and use cases specifically for radiology with a strong focus on governance, medical imaging workflows and service delivery mechanisms while working with input from regional and global solutions teams.
  • Acting as liaison for North America for market requirements, and being source of sales enablement to the field marketing, pre-sales, sales and bid support, in coordination with central marketing and communication team. Ensure field marketing and sales in North America are trained on the value of our offering vs. the competition and has value actualization tools, cases studies and references to support pricing.
  • Analyzing industry trends and competitive analysis and chalk out strategies for commercial growth
  • Work with region marketing to conduct an installed-base analysis and devise a plan for value focused retention and commercial growth
  • Creating a value focused product marketing plan for existing customers and new market segments in coordination with region marketing and service support stakeholders
  • Collaborate with industry consultants, key opinion leaders and customer thought leaders to create influence and awareness building (case studies, white papers, publications, differentiated value)
  • Evaluating product and service performance in the field, ensure success of the portfolio and steer necessary changes for optimization and customer satisfaction.

 

Requirements:

 

  • Master in Healthcare, medical field, Marketing, and/or IT or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
  • A proven track record of 10+ experience in Healthcare IT industry with at least 5 years in the field of IT product management, marketing or business development
  • Thorough understanding of the market, the competition, the pricing and of the key value drivers of a products and services based IT business, from a company performance perspective, from a customer value perspective and their willingness to pay perspective.
  • You have an understanding in medical informatics protocols and standards such as DICOM, HL7, FHIR, and IHE integration frameworks for medical devices and electronic medical record systems.
  • You have experience with working with physicians, clinicians, nursing staff, and C-suite and IT administration staff in a hospital or clinical care setting.
  • You can demonstrate proven success in the alignment with an ecosystem of internal and external stakeholders, and the coordination of multi-disciplinary teams with a common objective.
  • Deep domain expertise in Radiology IT, marketing, product commercialization and value-based positioning strategies
  • You have the ability to build relationships across organizational levels
  • You have strong analytical skills in building innovative ideas through collaboration and plan for execution
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and process skills
  • You are willing to travel up to 50%.
