Instructional Designer - Imaging IT Solutions (IITS)

Agfa Healthcare's internal product Training team is looking for an Instructional Designer with the knowledge and passion to design and develop engaging and effective content for the various Service & Sales profiles within our organization.

As the successful candidate, you will collaborate with subject matter experts (SME) within the organization to produce engaging, effective learning solutions based on prioritized business needs. The diversity of the audiences we support will require the successful candidate to be proficient with all aspects of the instructional design process, multiple delivery methods, and the development of metrics to determine effectiveness.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Work collaboratively with SMEs and other Instructional Designers to design storyboards, determine best delivery methods, and establish a shared vision based on business needs.
  • Research, design and develop relevant, engaging, effective and highly innovative adult learning solutions that incorporate instructional design best practices.
  • Design and develop learning solutions for varying delivery methods – eLearning, blended learning, game-based learning, micro learning, remote delivery, instructor-led training and so on.
  • Determine and manage content delivery dates in collaboration with SMEs, including detailed work breakdown.
  • Analyze test results, evaluations and reports to determine trends and respond with follow-up training/information where required.
  • Work closely with fellow Instructional Designers, and internal/external partners to continuously improve design practices and methodologies.

 

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated success in formal instructional design, including conducting in-depth needs assessment using ADDIE, SAM (or similar) design model.
  • Knowledge of, and the ability to apply, adult learning principles.
  • Ability to think critically and ask targeted questions to determine needs and respond appropriately.
  • Creative and innovative thinking.
