 The Government Solutions Manager is responsible for upstream engagement with Research and Development, Global Services and Marketing to ensure government customer needs are met and properly prioritized as well as overseeing downstream engagement with deployment teams to interpret/integrate contract requirements and market expectations in a standardized manner.  This position also supports the Government Sales efforts in answering the technical, government-specific needs and writing proposal responses to aid them in winning new business.


Main responsibilities:


  • Work closely with Research and Development, Global Services and Marketing to ensure government business needs are understood, feasible and when possible, met.
  • Actively engage with deployment teams to ensure consistent and efficient processes are followed for all projects.
  • Mentor overseas projects to ensure overseas colleagues deliver projects in their regions in accordance with contract requirements and expectations.
  • Answer technical, government-specific needs for new business.
  • Assist with testing in the FF GAL – Validation with Government Test facilities.
  • Maintain templates for and handle CDRL generation and review for each project. 
  • Complete RFI reviews and responses to ensure we provide a technical response on how we meet prospective bid requirements. 
  • Handle RFP/RFQ responses and answer some of the contractual and technical issues as needed.
  • Advise Government Deployment and Workflow to define both IMPAX configurations and EI Tasks/Workflows.
  • Mentor Project Management for overseas government projects.
  • Work with Government Program Director to complete Acceptance Testing.  This may include performing actual testing, remediations, responding to open issues and tracking those issues to ensure they get to completion.
  • Partner with Migration teams as a consultant for CHCS/VistA issues to ensure we know exactly what data is needed from RIS, how and who we will ask for it, etc.
  • Handle MHS GENESIS (new DOD RIS and workflow in IMPAX facilities) and validation of the interface with FF GAL and IMPAX.
  • Maintain Government large account management strategies for monthly Gold Sheet reviews under Miller Heimann process.
  • Assist with cutovers from CHCS to MHS GENESIS at IMPAX facilities to include MWL issues, study description changes.  Act as the point of contact with the program office and the sites.
  • Act as resource to answer questions on DINPACS or Delivery Order and what we have committed to.
  • Review competitor orders for inconsistencies and suspicious behavior.
  • Assist customers to ensure they achieve compliance on things such as AAPM and Mammo reading guidance (Barco calibrations, etc).
  • Handle MHS B2B submissions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.




  • Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Healthcare or related field preferred 




  • 5 years of health care industry experience in the government sector

  • Knowledge of current information systems technology and Government healthcare industry trends
  • Exemplary written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with excellent negotiation, facilitation and conflict resolution skills
  • Proven presentation preparation and delivery skills to a diverse audience
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving ability
  • Ability to travel approximately 40%
