Pre Sales Consultant


We are currently looking for a Pre Sales Consultant to deliver field-based sales consulting to the Agfa UK organization, customers and prospects. The Sales Consultant supports the sales process; This role is specifically focused on maintaining demonstration equipment and giving customer facing demonstrations.    



As a Pre Sales Consultant you are responsible for: 


  • Provide technical Support to Agfa Key Account Managers
  • Provide technical consultancy on applications and configurations to potential and existing customers
  • Maintain demonstration equipment to latest versions and co-ordinate logistics for customer demonstrations and trade shows
  • Demonstrate PACS, RIS and Cardiology applications to existing and potential customers
  • Perform customer presentations
  • Perform on site applications support to existing customers
  • Create and follow up on upselling opportunities
  • Act as the communication bridge between the core bid team and any consulted specialists
  • Prepare documentation required for proposals, bids and contracts
  • Fill-in bid forms and documentation
  • Prepare quotations
  • Prepare and accompany reference-site visits with customers and prospects
  • Prepare trade fairs and represent Agfa HE
  • Bridge the gap between sales and product management
  • Administer Local Demonstration equipment; the equipment should be kept up to date with latest versions.  The equipment should be tested prior to any demonstration on site
  • Prepare for and Give outstanding customer facing demonstrations and Presentations
  • Accountability for creating bids on-time and according to Business Divisions pricing guides and authority
  • Accountability for high technical quality and configuration of a proposal
  • Accountability for a realistic and appropriate proposal scope
  • Accountability for being knowledgeable and up-to-date on latest Agfa HE and competitors products & solutions



What you bring to the table

  • Degree in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent by experience
  • 3-5 years Sales or Pre-sales experience within Healthcare IT and/or Radiology
  • Technical knowledge of Radiology IT Solutions
  • PACS RIS and Cardiology Imaging market knowledge
  • Radiology and Cardiology Imaging workflow knowledge
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to effectively demonstrate clinical software
  • Confident and articulate Presentation skills
  • Excellent planning & organising skills
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to use initiative.
  • Good team player
  • Flexible and adaptable
  • Strong self-motivation.


Location: homebased with clients in UK/EIRE/DK/SE
