As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) you will be responsible for generating interest in Agfa HealthCare products through developing, nurturing and qualifying leads. The SDR plays a critical role on the sales team.  We are looking for candidates that are eager and interested to build a career in the Healthcare IT sector, with a passion for technology.



Main Responsibilities:


  • Follow up and nurture Leads from trade shows
  • Initiate conversations with potential client via phone and/or email outreach
  • Generate new business opportunities to fuel the pipeline through executing demand generation programs
  • Collaborate with Sales Management and individual Sales Representatives to develop targeted lists, call strategies, and messaging to drive opportunities for new business
  • Research and build new and existing relationships (i.e. adding contacts, sending regular emails, strategic appointment setting)
  • Bi-Weekly calls with all new business reps
  • Achieve or exceed monthly/quarterly quotas of Qualified Leads and Closed Business
  • Collaborate with Sales management and the Marketing Department to create and deliver monthly campaigns to drive revenue
  • Manage and create quotes for assigned accounts
  • Minimal travel required
  • Other duties as assigned




  • Undergraduate degree in healthcare or related field
  • Cold-calling experience is a definite plus
  • Email marketing experience is a plus
  • Experience selling healthcare technology systems or products is a definite plus
  • Sugar CRM experience strongly preferred
  • High energy and positive attitude is required
  • Excellent written / verbal communication skills is a must
  • Highly motivated, driven and self-starting individual
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, team environment
  • Ability to understand customer requirements and identify potential solutions to fulfill these needs
  • Excellent time management with strong organizational skills
