Field Service Engineer

Purpose of the job as Field Technical Service

  • Escalate problems to line manager upon necessary support
  • Perform preventive/corrective maintenance on equipment
  • Assist internal and external customers (e.g. user, freelancer, colleagues from all business areas, etc.) on-site and/or remotely on technical questions and issues
  • Identify opportunity for up-selling Agfa Services and Products and pass on up-selling opportunities to sales as required
  • Troubleshoot Product / Solution and IT infrastructure issues (technically, not user / application related)
  • Upgrade and migrate Product / Solution and IT infrastructure (e.g. database, operational systems etc.)
  • Implement workarounds and solutions and report interventions (technically, not user / application related)
  • Identify risks and problems and manage follow-up of incidents
  • Assist Service General Manager and line manager who report to HQ in problem solving and risk analysis
  • PrePress
    • Execute installations as a team member of the installation team or as the installation responsible
    • Execute Break & fix primarily in the zone but also in the region as a whole, on-site and remotely
    • Take own responsibility to give highest quality in all service tasks towards the customer
    • Give operator training on equipment to customer

Fulfil the administration tasks that is needed (defined by Service General Manager)
