You as a Software / Hardware Engineer, will work with a team of other engineers and technicians on large, complex control systems in a multidisciplinary engineering environment related to digital printing and supporting architecture. The Software / Hardware Engineer will work with the latest technology in a range of software development including microprocessors, system-on-a-chip, database solutions, image manipulation, and a human interface on a Linux platform.


Responsibilities, but not limited to the following

  • You will be responsible for the full development life cycle of the software (requirements, code, test, and deployment),
  • Design, develop and maintain software features and procedures required for the proper operation of the equipment
  • Find root cause of issues reported from the field and implement appropriate fixes.
  • Analyze, select and integrate electrical components (motors, drives, valves, relays, PSU’s) in existing printer designs.



  • BS in Computer Engineering or Computer Science



  • Requires five years of related Software / Hardware Engineering experience or related experience.


Specific Skills:

  • Extensive knowledge of C/C++ programming in a Linux environment, especially as used within industrial control and automation systems.
  • Extensive knowledge of Linux operating systems, especially as used within industrial control and automation systems. Associated Windows experience would be an asset.
  • Well-developed oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience designing and debugging multithreaded/multi-process applications
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills with ability to isolate and fix problems
  • Application layer and GUI/HMI software design and implementation
  • Knowledge of process control and optimization
  • Excellent working knowledge of Qt
  • Hands-on experience with Git, GDB, Makefile
