HR Manager DECHSEE (m/w/d)



Your responsibilities:


  • Act as an HR Business Partner for the Sales Organisation in the DECHSEE region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland and South Eastern countries) and for the manufacturing site in Germany (Wiesbaden)
  • Operate as country lead for the German HR staff (at the moment 4 employees)
  • Drive implementation of appropriate restructuring plans, staffing strategies and plans
  • Work closely together with local works councils incl. corresponding negotiations and implementation of works council agreements
  • Monitor ongoing pension activities for active and passive employees in Germany and take care for the accuracy of the current procedure and further development of corresponding programs together with the external pension provider
  • Monitoring and controlling costs against agreed budgets
  • Lead the standardization of HR policies, processes, practices and systems across the region, in conjunction with a standardization project team in Headquarter
  • Responsible for implementation of corporate policies and processes in this Region
  • Organisational Development - act as a change agent and work with business managers to ensure the implementation of strategic plans and ensuring that deployment plans are effectively implemented
  • Facilitate recruitment activities and talent management to ensure succession planning, career management and development of high performing HR staff and managers




Your profile:

  • You have a minimum of 8 years HR experience in an international HR environment, at least three of these being in an HR Manager role
  • Degree preferably in Business Management with solid knowledge in HR Law, Social Security, Taxes and Company Pension (baV)
  • Proven experience of successful working with Works Councils incl. all kind of negotiations incl. restructuring activities
  • You are results oriented – developing focused, realistic plans for self to deliver to expectations with the ability to exhibit resilience in the face of setbacks, demonstrating determination and flexibility to overcome barriers
  • Very pragmatic and hands-on mentality
  • Able to manage multiple priorities in a matrix organization and to deal with cross-functional populations
  • Client and customer focused – accustomed to working with multi-functional groups at all levels
  • Demonstrated ability to lead change initiatives and drive process excellence
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills, - able to communicate with and influence multiple levels of the organization
  • Personality - self motivated and enthusiastic, influential in a transformation environment - reliable with high sense of responsibility
  • German mother tongue with fluent English (spoken & written)



Location: Agfa NV ZN Germany, Dusseldorf (Germany), travel extent 25-30%
