Agfa has an excellent opportunity for an experienced and driven sales professional to take responsibility for the New Zealand market.


Reporting to the Business Development Manager, your role will be to develop new business and manage existing account relationships focusing on selling Agfa’s pre-press and inkjet hardware, software and consumables portfolio to achieve budgeted revenue and profit targets. 


In this position, you will be responsible for:

  • Achieving budgeted sales targets by effectively managing accounts and generating new business
  • Developing and executing short range strategies by researching sales opportunities and competitive activity/offerings.
  • Developing appropriate sales plans and pricing proposals based on an assessment of the customers’/prospects’ needs, aimed at achieving both revenue and profitability targets.
  • Utilising market and client industry research & analysis to help sell Agfa solutions to end users.
  • Maintain current knowledge of competitive and customer activity in the territory, providing relevant information to management.
  • Regularly use and update Agfa’s sales tools for forecasting, pricing proposals, etc.


To be considered for the role you will possess:

  • In-depth knowledge of Pre-Press and Inkjet technology
  • Ability to absorb complex technical solutions
  • Proven ability to sell commercial printing technology solutions to end users
  • Knowledge of local New Zealand commercial printing market
  • Proven reputation of skilled account management.
  • Proven track record as a results orientated high achiever.
  • Ability to interact professionally to develop new business sales opportunities.
  • Ability to execute sales strategies.
  • Professional communication skills (written & verbal) with excellent time management and presentation skills.
  • Ability to travel depending on customer and business needs
